We're pleased to announce several leadership changes in our organization:
 

• Marilyn Vega has been promoted to assistant director of procurement. The procurement team will report to Marilyn.

• David Pavkovic has been promoted to procurement operations manager, a newly created role focused on process improvement and operational excellence. Lorna Przeslawski and Monika Rohde will report to David.

• Gary Hampton is now leading the University's vendor management program. The Vendor Management Office will include the Vendor ID team consisting of Ramona Williams and Tanya Barnett and the VetHUB team of Annette Smith, Danielle Ash, Oscar Toledo and Tiburcio Soto. This team will provide oversight throughout the vendor lifecycle to ensure compliance with Texas procurement statutes, UT System policies, and institutional standards.  This integration will create better efficiency and coordination in how we work with vendors from selection through onboarding.

• Cindy Gregg, director of payment services, will retire on January 31 after 30 years of service to UT.

• Michelle Tanksley, currently director of business affairs at the Red McCombs School of Business, joined as the new director of payment services on January 20, 2026.
   

These changes strengthen our ability to serve the University's buying community.
