Welcome to the Vendor Management Office

What We Do

The VMO provides oversight and guidance throughout the vendor lifecycle to ensure compliance with Texas procurement statutes, UT System policies, and institutional standards.

Our responsibilities include:

- Vendor Onboarding & Compliance – Validate vendor credentials, ensure adherence to state and university requirements, including Veteran Heroes United in Business or VetHUB participation and GA-48 foreign adversary restrictions.

- Relationship Management – Foster collaboration with vendors to support research, academic programs, and operational excellence.

Our mission is to create a transparent, efficient, and compliant vendor ecosystem that advances the university’s strategic goals while safeguarding public funds.
