Tracking Contract+ Payments to Improve Contract Monitoring

Procurement and Payment Services (PPS) in partnership with Enterprise Business IT Solutions (eBITS) updated functionality in *DEFINE to improve contract monitoring.

Technology and Software Procurement and Registration Policy

The Information Security Office (ISO) in collaboration with Procurement and Payment Services (PPS) are finalizing a new procurement policy that provides guidance regarding purchasing software clickwrap agreements using Procards and informing ISO of all acquisitions of software/technology.

Contracts+ (formerly known as Total Contract Manager)

Contracts+ is an electronic contract management system currently used by Business Contracts Office (BCO). Effort is underway to allow campus users access to the Contracts+ platform.

Single Use Virtual Card Program

As previously announced, the University of Texas at Austin Procurement and Payment Services team, in partnership with JPMorgan Chase (Chase), launched a new method of supplier payment called the Single Use Virtual Card Program (SUVC). A pilot launch began on Monday, October 4, 2021, with Beckman Coulter, Apollo Water Services LLC, Macartney Inc, Prototeck Sheetmetal Fabrication, and Jackson Laboratory as the initial suppliers participating in the program. This pilot program was successful and has ended.

UT Market Updates to eShipGlobal Website

The Procurement and Payment Services (PPS) UT Market team has been working over the past several months with shipping solutions provider eShipGlobal to upgrade their website and add functional enhancements. The upgraded website will be available for use on January 23, 2023.
