New Vendor Hold Search Tool Available

A new UT Vendor Hold Search will be launched and made available for campus beginning today.  This tool is designed to assist staff during the procurement process and determine whether a prospective vendor has an active payment hold with the State of Texas.

 

As part of our efforts to ensure compliance with state regulations, the UT Vendor Hold Search enables users to verify vendor eligibility for payment in accordance with the warrant hold statutes established by the State Comptroller’s Office. These statutes prohibit state agencies, including UT Austin, from issuing payments to vendors who have unresolved debts or issues with the state.

 

The new UT-hosted platform features a questionnaire-style search interface which simplifies the process of checking a vendor's hold status and supports users in collecting the necessary information to make informed procurement decisions efficiently and accurately.

 

Please note that this site replaces the previous Vendor Hold Search tool managed by the State of Texas, which was officially decommissioned in August 2024.
