UT Market is getting a new supplier! Graybar has been a current provider of electrical supplies, communications, and data networking products for UT Austin for many years. We are excited to add them as a UT Market supplier with contract pricing.
Potential UPS Shipping Delays

There is a possibility that there will be a United Parcel Service (UPS) labor strike beginning August 1, 2023 when UPS’ current labor contract with employees expires. Department Buyers (Buyers) should consider providers other than UPS until there is more certainty. Should the strike take place we can expect an impact on operations depending upon UPS’ ability to continue operations with limited staffing.
Contract Payment Tracker – Coming April 12th

The University’s Contract Payment Tracker (CPT) is anticipated for release on Wednesday, April 12th. The new tool will facilitate departmental ability to monitor payment data related to business contracts in the Contracts+ system.

The EMD Millipore hosted catalog is being removed from UT Market per the request of MilliporeSigma. MilliporeSigma was created in 2015 through the merger of EMD Millipore & Sigma Aldrich.
End-of-Year Deadlines

Procurement and Payment Services will close for Winter Break beginning on Friday, December 23 through Friday, December 30, 2022.
In order to ensure that we can assist with purchase requests that must be completed before the Winter Break, we ask that any approved requisition, including all supporting documentation and/or contract documents, be submitted to the Procurement Office no later than 5PM CST on Friday, November 18, 2022.
