Single Sign-On (SSO) for the UT Amazon Business Prime Accounts

Hello UT Amazon Business Prime Users,

This Fall, Procurement and Payment Services (PPS) will implement Single Sign-On (SSO) for the UT Amazon Business Prime accounts. Moving to SSO will increase security while enabling users to access their AB accounts. Ahead of this update, we want to take the time to let you know what this means for you and the University, and what to expect in the coming weeks.

What does this mean for you?

As with other UT websites and services you use regularly, your identity will be validated through SSO. You will no longer be asked to enter your password or save it to your device to login to UT Amazon Business Prime.  This allows us to ensure that the individuals permitted to use the account are authorized and using the appropriate University credentials.

What can you expect in the upcoming weeks?

Over the coming weeks, you will receive additional communications from our office as we move closer to SSO implementation. We will contact all account users to notify them whether they will be able to authenticate successfully through SSO or if they will need to take additional actions. We will provide step by step guidance to those who need to take action, ensuring all current and future UT Amazon Business Prime account users can authenticate properly.

Our goal is to simplify this process, allowing you to authenticate through SSO, secure your identity, and uphold compliance by enhancing security for the account. Please be on the lookout for future communications from our office as we move toward SSO implementation and attempt to answer all of your questions in the process.

Thank you,

Jason Arredondo
